It’s no secret that I love burpees in every shape, form, and fashion. I had planned on working out with the 6am Boot Campers, but as there were quite a few athletes at Open Gym, I patiently waited and completed the workout with the 7am Boot Campers, Cecile, David, Denise, Brad, Stacy, and (my favorite) Kim.
“Burpee Hell”
2-min rounds; 1 min rest between rounds
Burpees
Plate burpees
Burpee box jumps
Twisting burpees
Slam ball burpees
Dumbbell burpees
I didn’t want to be accused of sandbagging, so I upped the ante when I could. Forty-five pound plate, 30″ box, 30# slam ball, and 40# dumbbells.
It was miserable ending with 80# dumbbell burpees.
I thought I had taken a picture of the whiteboard with number of reps, but evidently I had not. From recollection…

I know that I completed a total of 165 burpees. And enjoyed every moment.
