I coached all morning, took Luke for a long walk, and then joined the 11:45 session led by Coach Jannicka.

I need a rest day. I would’ve rested today, but I needed to be out of the house for the cleaners. That’s as good of an excuse as any.
My upper body is particularly sore, and I knew that push-jerks were going to be a struggle. I completed sets @ 105, 115, 125# — and didn’t even complete the last rep. Huh? So very weak.
Conditioning
AFAP
— 15 Thrusters, 95
— 25 Toes to Bar
— 50 Box Jumps, 24
— 25 Toes to Bar
— 15 Thrusters
I do enjoying working out with others!
I completed first round of thrusters unbroken, first round of toes to bar in sets of 10, 10, & 5, and box jumps unbroken — and not rebounding off of box. I’m not a fan, as it’s a good way to tear your Achilles.
I completed the last round of toes to bar in reps of 5, 5, 5, 4, and singles. Surprisingly, I completed the last round of thrusters in reps of 5.
How’d that happen?
I did not look at the clock during the metcon, as I didn’t want to race the clock and let form suffer.
As I was completing last thrusters Coach Jannicka said, “Come on, Paul. You can finish in under 7 minutes!” I did just that, completing in 6:28.
My time may have been 6:27. When I completed Alan was jumping on the box and obscured my view. He has a rather big head. so it may have taken more than 2 seconds for me to get an accurate view of the clock.
