Blue, blue, the walls are blue…

I coached the 9:45 and attended the 11 session (led by Coach Jeffy). After yesterday’s barbell challenge, I wanted to ensure that I didn’t even allude to barbells today.

Skills
Rope climbs and rope climb challenge
Pull-up rig challenge

The rope climbing challenge consisted of 5 rope climbs for time. Ouch. That hurt. Time = 1:02

Athletes were offered a variety of pull-up rig challenges. I chose the most difficult, navigating along all of the bars except for those 10′ high. Even I can’t do that. Yet. Oh, I wore a 30# vest. Ouch. That really hurt, and for a moment near the end I honestly didn’t think I was going to be able to make it to the end. I somehow managed to do so. Sorry for being awesome. Time = 58 seconds

Conditioning
OPTION A
15-min AMRAP

— 40 double unders or 120 single unders
— 15 box jump overs (24/20)
— 40-second accumulated plank hold

OR

OPTION B
15-min AMRAP

— 40 unbroken double unders
— 15 twisting box jump overs (24/20)
— 40-second unbroken plank hold

Ouch. That hurt. My forearms were still aching from rope climbs and pull-up rig challenge. Twisting box jumps overs were miserable, and I couldn’t seem to get in a rhythm. I was also concerned with banging my left leg. I completed 6 rounds + 40 double unders + 10 twisting box jump overs.

Jeff and I painted the wall and extended the wall ball line. It looks great!
