“Bradshaw”

photoI am feeling particularly energetic, even after completing yesterday’s challenging WOD.

I had no recollection of having completed the Hero WOD “Bradshaw”, although I indeed had done so May 28 of last year with a time of 23:40. I’m kinda glad I didn’t know what my previous time was, as it might have thrown off my pace.

“Bradshaw”
10 rounds for time
3 handstand pushups
6 dead-lifts, 225#
12 pull-ups
24 double unders

This was tough, as any Hero WOD should be. I completed all rounds of HSPUs and dead-lifts unbroken, as well as 7 rounds of double unders and the first round of pull-ups.

I could’ve completed more rounds of pull-ups unbroken, but I made myself stop at 8 reps for rounds 2 through 9. I had every intention of completing the last round of pull-ups unbroken, but that just didn’t happen. Dammit.

My time was 20:37, 3 minutes and 3 seconds faster than my PR. I’ll take it!

I’m not a fan of the high five. Seriously. Don’t even attempt to high five me. I mean it.
