Jeff was kind enough to lead the metcon for the 9:45 session.

I encouraged folks to scale as needed, including scaling up. I scaled up, settling on 115#. Heavy shit, I tell you. Heavy. Shit.
I also carried a 20# medicine ball behind my head for first 4 rounds and on alternating shoulders for last round. Heavy shit, I tell you. Heavy. Shit.
Instead of HRPUs, I completed pushups with feet on medicine ball.
It’s always fun to work out with others. It’s even more fun when you know that someone is racing against you. It’s the most fun when you win. That happened today. Uhm, it wasn’t a level playing field, as I had scaled up considerably. Apples, I’d like for you to meet oranges. Oranges, apples.
The easiest activity was stiff-legged dead-lifts, and by far the most difficult activity was sumo dead-lift high pulls. Uhm, 115 felt much, much, much heaver than 95#. I could often start a round with 5 or more unbroken SDHPs, but then often had to complete the reps one at a time. One. At. A. Time. I also had 4 failed reps, as the bar didn’t touch my clavicle.
Time = 27:13
More than 75 ring dips both yesterday and today. Yup, I did that.
